Shay’s life had been marked by childhood loss, trauma, unhealthy relationships and addiction. Today, she is one year sober and excited to see what God can do with her future.

Latandra once turned to the streets looking for love and belonging. After addiction, loss, and jail, she came to Charis House and began discovering what real love and surrender to God could look like.

Ella began using substances at a young age to numb feelings of abandonment and pain. At Charis House, she learned not only how to live differently, but who she is in Christ.

Skylar’s addiction began after a serious accident at 14 and eventually led to years of drug use and incarceration. Then she came to Charis House and learned what it meant to truly surrender her life to Christ.

Angie carried grief, addiction, guilt and shame for years. Today, she says the Lord and Charis House helped give her a new life—and she can finally walk with her head held high.

Stephanie once believed she would die in her addiction. After relapse, arrests and returning to Charis House, she can finally say something she never could before: “There’s just life now.”
