We believe lasting recovery begins with a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Along with a structured residential environment, women participate in biblical classes, recovery-based curriculum, Christian counseling, group therapy, life skills training, volunteer opportunities, and a supportive community that encourages lasting transformation.

Charis House provides a variety of resources to help women grow during recovery, including:
Biblical foundation classes
Recovery-based group meetings
Individual counseling
Life skills and budgeting classes
GED education and tutoring
Volunteer opportunities
Preparation for reintegration
Continuing education support

Yes. Participants are permitted two phone calls each week to approved members of their support system and visitation twice each month with pre-approved family members.

Clothing
Hygeine
Blanket and pillow
Snacks
Art supplies
Make-up
Hair accessories
Notebooks, pens, and pencils
A backpack
Coloring books
A purse
You may make 2 phone calls per week to your support system.
Bring a 30-day supply of any prescribed medication you are currently taking.
You will need funding for ongoing medication.
